The Dignity Code - Shelbourne's promise to residents

Following the recent publicity and parliamentary debates on the standard of Dementia care in the UK, there have been changes in the regulations that govern care homes.  One of these changes relates to Dignity, and the need for those caring for the elderly to maintain the utmost respect for a persons dignity at all times.

Shelbourne Senior Living fully supports these new policies and has implemented its own 'DIGNITY CODE', a set of rules which all of our team members commit to and abide by.  We are committed to providing the best possible care to our residents and are implementing these policies in full force, requiring our staff to formally sign up to this code and make it their priority in daily operations.

Further to this, Shelbourne Senior Living will lead by example in the care industry ensuring that residents dignity is maintained at all times, including respecting their privacy, personal wishes and offering them support while giving the chance to remain independent where possible.
